The participants at the first E2 Forum Frankfurt took a decisive step into the future of vertical-horizontal transport in buildings and cities: Around 420 experts from the elevator and escalator industry as well as planners, constructors and operators of modern buildings and infrastructures gave the two-day conference and exhibition top marks.
New exhibitor record and more visitors at the 25th Automechanika Frankfurt
Automechanika Frankfurt concluded on 15 September following five trade fair days with a record number of exhibitors, more visitors than in 2016 and a new record for the amount of exhibition space. The event drew 136,000 trade visitors from 181 countries – another record . Of these, approx. 10,000 were at the event for the first time. 82 percent of exhibitors said they had achieved their goals for the event (2016: 78). The megatrends at the fair were digitisation, clean vehicles and classic cars.
Messe Frankfurt announces participation in inaugural China International Import Expo
Messe Frankfurt Group, the world’s largest trade fair, congress and event organiser with its own exhibition grounds, will participate as an exhibitor itself in the inaugural China International Import Expo (CIIE) to be held in Shanghai this 5 to 10 November. The fair is considered a major diplomatic event for China, supported by the highest levels of the Chinese government, and will feature around 2,800 exhibitors from more than 130 countries and regions.

Three days of Nordstil: lifestyle and trend products from 800 exhibitors, events, workshops, live presentations and much more. The rich variety of goods for the North put the 13,500 trade visitors in a buying mood and encouraged them to place orders while making new contacts. The trade fair’s new date – at the end of the northern German summer holiday season – also contributed to the buoyant mood in the exhibition halls.

As disclosed in an agreement signed on 18 July 2018 by the organisers of Texcare Asia and the China Laundry Expo, the two trade fairs will merge into a single show in a win-win arrangement to integrate industry resources.

From July 4 to 6, 2019, Messe Frankfurt South Africa will put on the first AERO SOUTH AFRICA at the Woonderboom Airfield in Pretoria, South Africa.
