72 guest events still to come this year

13 Oct 2026

The density of events is as high as ever in the fourth quarter, with no fewer than 72 guest events scheduled to take place on the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds before the year is out. International trade fairs, congresses, industry conferences and public events make Messe Frankfurt locations prime meeting points for industry and retail, science and culture, and sport and music.

Messe Frankfurt is looking forward to a very busy final quarter, with 13 trade fairs, 32 congresses and conferences, and 27 concerts and other events. As well as the Frankfurt Book Fair, which has just come to an end, the October highlights include Routes World, the world’s leading trade fair and conference for developing flight routes and air traffic networks. This will be followed in November by events such as the FI Forum, This Is Marketing, Fi Europe and Formnext. And the Frankfurt exhibition grounds will also be playing host to many guest events in December, including Architect@Work and fitness competition HYROX.

As Dr Christine von Schildt, Member of the Messe Frankfurt Executive Board, explains: “The many guest events that will be held on our exhibition grounds between now and the end of the year will be covering interesting topics and featuring prominent guests. For a start, last week’s Frankfurt Book Fair brought together many well-known names from the realms of literature, culture and politics to our halls and our city. Over the coming weeks, our Festhalle will be playing host to further international artists such as Bob Dylan, Deep Purple, Placebo and Tokio Hotel and to top athletes for the Frankfurt Marathon and the stars of the riding scene for the International Horse-Riding Tournament. There will also be a whole host of trade fairs and congresses showcasing fascinating new products and shining a spotlight on key industry issues.”
