Together we make a difference.
We can make a big contribution to greater sustainability with small things that everyone can pay attention to during set-up and dismantling. In this video, we would like to show you how it works!
If everyone does their part, it’s really easy!
To ensure that everything runs smoothly during setup and dismantling, we would like to give you two tips:
Please do not fill containers beyond the brim!
To ensure that your materials and waste can be disposed of quickly and properly, it is important not to fill containers beyond the designated edge. This also applies to individual boards or large cardboard boxes.
Overfilled containers often cannot be collected sa-fely and cause additional work and delay – for you and other teams.
Please palletize wood waste correctly!
We collect wood scraps with a forklift. To do this, you need to stack the wood scraps on a pallet or two wooden blocks. This is the only way we can drive the fork under the stack.
In addition, the wood waste must be stacked neatly and as evenly as possible. Stacks that are too high or too wide, or piles that are not stacked neatly, must be dismantled by hand. This takes a lot of time and slows down all subsequent work steps.
As a guideline, wood piles should be no more than 2 m wide, 1 m deep, and 1.2 m high. Ideally, you should also bundle the wood pile with a strap. This ensures that nothing falls or slips when you lift it.
