Access to the exhibition grounds during stand parties

This page provides a clear and straightforward explanation of how access to the exhibition grounds is regulated in the context of a stand party. Please observe the following information to ensure that access proceeds smoothly.

Which vehicles are permitted to enter for a stand party?

Only vehicles essential for the organisation and delivery of your stand party are permitted, for example for catering, technical equipment or artists.

Permitted vehicle types

You may register up to five vehicles:

  • Cars
  • Vans up to 3.5 tonnes
  • Trucks up to 7.5 tonnes without trailer

Not permitted

  • Vehicles over 7.5 tonnes (e.g. 40-tonne trucks)
  • Visitors or guests

Important: Access is strictly for logistical purposes – not for parking. Your guests are advised to park at the Rebstock multi-storey car park and use the shuttle bus to the exhibition grounds.

When is entry and exit possible?

Time Regulation
From 4 p.m. Registered vehicles may enter
During the stand party Vehicles may remain on the exhibition grounds provided they are registered
By 7 a.m. at the latest All vehicles must have left the exhibition grounds

Please plan your logistics to ensure that these time slots are adhered to.

Where may I park on the exhibition grounds and what else should I be aware of?

  • Loading, unloading and parking are permitted only in the loading zones behind the exhibition halls – not within the event area.
  • Please also note that set-up for the stand party outside your exhibition stand is not permitted during official exhibition opening hours!

How do I apply for access authorisation?

Please apply for your access authorisations in good time using our online form.
The following information is required for processing:

  • Details of the person or company requiring access (e.g. caterer, band/DJ, service vehicle)
  • Vehicle type (car, van, truck up to 7.5 tonnes without trailer)
  • Vehicle registration number (including trailer, if applicable)
  • Contact person with mobile number – ideally the driver’s number
  • Postal address to which the entry passes are to be sent
  • Details of service vehicles (e.g. refrigerated vehicles) and any required electricity or water connections. If electricity is required, please specify the exact type of connection.

Short-notice deliveries – what is permitted?

Not everything can always be planned in advance. The following rules apply to short-notice deliveries:

  • Time window: From one hour before the event begins until 5:30 p.m. (if the exhibition closes at 6 p.m.)
  • A cash deposit of €100 must be paid at the access gate
  • The deposit will be refunded if the vehicle exits within one hour
  • If this time limit is exceeded, the deposit will be forfeited
