“We do everything we can to ensure that our organizers get the best possible reach and hands-on support for their topics here in Frankfurt,” says Michael Biwer, Vice President Guest Events at Messe Frankfurt.
Together with the Frankfurt Convention Bureau the Messe Frankfurt team enables selected local businesses and associations to join forces with organizers and identify synergies and build valuable partnerships, particularly regarding events related to Frankfurt´s key industries.
“These round tables are all about finding out what the community in Frankfurt can offer our organizers—and, vice versa, what their events can bring to the city. Ideally, we create impact in both directions,” explains Eva Klinger, Director Sales & Marketing Guest Events at Messe Frankfurt.
A perfect example of this approach are the Tech Round Tables held as part of the Tech Show Frankfurt:
Ahead of the Tech Show Frankfurt, organizer Closer Still Media met with Frankfurt tech startups, the city’s economic development agency, and Frankfurt Rhein Main GmbH. The group came up with ideas for the 2025 and 2026 editions of the event.
At the second Tech Round Table in November 2025, the partners established connections to relevant local media and explored new target groups within industry and the academic community. Additional outcomes of the successful workshop, hosted by Messe Frankfurt, included speaker recommendations and a concept for a locally focused event format to promote the Tech Show.
“We are extremely grateful for this new, creative form of support from our host venue,” says Anna Campagnoli, Group Event Director at Closer Still Media. “Especially after the second workshop, we are truly impressed by the initiative and the operational input our partners contribute as we work together to establish Frankfurt as a leading digital tech hub.”
