Frankfurt is a perfect destination for the event sector: international, modern, young and at the same time with history, experience and economic power.

In the future, Frankfurt's role as a player in the round of European congress and event locations is to become even more significant. With the founding of the "Frankfurt MICE 2030" initiative, Messe Frankfurt Venue, together with the Frankfurt Convention Bureau, Tourismus+Congress GmbH Frankfurt am Main, DEHOGA (the acronym stands for Deutscher Hotel- und Gaststättenverband) Hessen and the Frankfurt Hotel Alliance (FHA), aims to expand Frankfurt's position as a leading MICE destination. The new network thus not only bundles important expertise in the MICE sector, but also brings together different perspectives from politics and business.

Michael Biwer, Vice President Guest Events at Messe Frankfurt, explains: "We see ourselves as a driving force for measures that make Frankfurt an even more attractive location for event organizers and guests. Together, we develop concepts that are aligned with Frankfurt's tourism development and marketing strategy and strengthen our international perception as a MICE destination - that is our stated mandate for action."
