28.10.2015 Messe Frankfurt singled out for several projects in the congress sector

Messe Frankfurt’s Congress Center and its Kap Europa venue, which opened in the Europaviertel district in 2014, are both to receive a “special mention” at the German Design Awards, an event organised by the German Design Council. Kap Europa is to receive an award for its Corporate Identity and the Congress Center for the relaunch of its VIP Lounge. The aim of the German Design Award is to discover, showcase and present awards for unique trends in design.

The high degree to which Kap Europa complied with the requirements of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) certification system paved the way for an upgrade and it is now to receive the highest possible award – a platinum certificate.

Uwe Behm, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt: “We are delighted to receive these awards since they prove that innovative and creative ideas are rewarded – while at the same time demonstrating that Messe Frankfurt is on the right track with its congress activities”.
