06.10.2016 Messe Frankfurt: New venue for GPEC®

Frankfurt exhibition grounds to play host to General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference from 2018

CCExpo Critical Communications Expo® to come to Frankfurt by 2017

The 10th General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference (GPEC®) is to take place in Hall 11 on the Frankfurt exhibition grounds between 20 and 22 February 2018. GPEC® is Europe’s largest closed special trade fair aimed at security authorities. Held every two years, it offers the most representative overview of internal security products for all fields and types of equipment – and in particular information and communication, vehicles and transport, weapons and devices, clothing and personal equipment, criminology and forensics. As a closed event, GPEC® is only open to security experts from governmental agencies. The patron of the event is Dr. Thomas de Maizière, Federal Minister of the Interior, MP.

Uwe Behm, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt: “We are delighted to be a partner to the GPEC® as of 2018. The GPEC® Exhibition & Conference fits very well with the Messe Frankfurt portfolio and is an excellent addition to our international security expertise.”

GPEC® is organised by EMW Exhibition & Media Wehrstedt GmbH. Some 6,700 security experts from 55 states will be attending GPEC 2016® to find out about new products, technologies and trends in the field of internal security, presented by 526 exhibitors from 31 states.

Dr. Uwe H. Wehrstedt, Managing Director of EMW Exhibition & Media Wehrstedt GmbH: “By relocating to Frankfurt, we are meeting the growing demand from our visitors and exhibitors, including those from outside Germany. Another important reason for our decision was the improved reachability for GPEC® for our trade visitors from a wide range of agencies and ministries in the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main area.”
