Outdoor exhibition area

The highly versatile outdoor exhibition area of Messe Frankfurt covers 83,000 square metres and can be usedas exhibition space or for special events. In recent years, more and more exhibitors and organisers have come to use the outdoor areas on the Frankfurt exhibition grounds as exhibition spaces.

For example, at the Automechanikatrade fair the "Service Station & Car Wash" area was set up onthe newly created southwest outdoor site, which is located between the Cargo Center, Hall 10 and the Portalhaus. Many outdoor activities, such as testdrives and off-road drives, also take place here during the IAA.

Germany’slargest family celebration, REWE Family, is also attended every year bythousands of visitors on the southwest corner of the exhibition grounds. Forthe whole day, families can enjoy a highly entertaining programme of events. Bouncy castles, Ferris wheels and many more attractions are set up outside onthe grounds.

During the IAA in Frankfurt, Audi makes use of the Agora, the central outdoor space between Halls 3 and 4 andthe Forum.
