Messe Frankfurt

Acting as a holding company, Messe Frankfurt GmbH is responsible for strategic control and overall coordination of the Messe Frankfurt corporate group. The holding company also provides financial resources and acts internally as an investor whose decisions are based on strategic criteria and long-term profit expectations. The shares of the holding company are held by the two public shareholders: city of Frankfurt (60 per cent), state of Hesse (40 per cent).

Messe Frankfurt GmbH controls the activities of the two independent 100% subsidiaries Messe Frankfurt Venue GmbH & Co. KG and Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. The holding company, Messe Frankfurt Venue and Messe Frankfurt Exhibition are run by one Executive Board.
