In the field of Social Responsibility our initiatives focus on our corporate culture, working conditions and barrier-free access. With our activities we fulfil our commitment to employees, stakeholders and society.

Corporate Culture

By signing the Charter for Diversity, we pay tribute to our international orientation and our diverse workforce. Together with 1,200 companies across Germany, we have committed ourselves to diversity, fairness and respect. We strive to establish a working environment in our company which is free of prejudice and exclusion.

Working conditions

Our corporate culture is reflected in secure jobs and above-average working conditions at all our sites. At Messe Frankfurt, we aim to retain our employees long term. Therefore, we provide a variety of training programmes to support their professional development.

With flexible working hours, tele- and part-time work options, as well as back-up child care, we create the foundation for a good balance between family and career. Employees can maintain and improve their physical and mental shape by joining company sports groups or by getting involved in campaigns such as “Bike to Work” which are organised as part of our “Messe Vital” health management programme.

Our employees appreciate our commitment: Surveys regularly show a very strong identification with the company and a high rate of loyalty. In 2009, Messe Frankfurt was named one of Germany’s "TOP EMPLOYERS” by the independent CRF institute.

Barrier-free access

Our events bring people together. Thanks to our centrally located and well connected venue, our events can be reached quickly and easily. On site, the barrier-free access and connection network between the halls and additional services ensure mobility for handicapped visitors.

In addition, we are a member of the European Major Exhibition Centres Association (EMECA), which campaigns for optimum accessibility to European trade fairs.
