Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate social responsibility

Environmental protection and sustainable business practices are a very high priority at Messe Frankfurt. As a principle relating to the sustainability of a company’s activities, Corporate Social Responsibility is therefore an integral part of the corporate concept.

Messe Frankfurt is synonymous with profitable business, protecting resources and job security. By preserving this excellent reputation, we are confident of safeguarding the future of our business.

At Messe Frankfurt, CSR focuses on four areas in particular: Environment/Sustainability, Work/Social Responsibility, Education/Science and Culture/Design. In addition, many of the Group’s events worldwide address such topics as recycling, water management, waste disposal, energy efficiency and organic textiles.

Logo Charta der Vielfalt

Charter for Diversity

The diversity of modern society, influenced by globalisation and demographic change, characterises business life in Germany. Only those who recognise existing diversity and use it to their advantage will experience economic success. This also applies to the diversity of employees and customers as well as business partners. Different abilities and talents provide opportunities for innovative and creative solutions.

By joining the Charter for Diversity, Messe Frankfurt is supporting a corporate initiative that is aimed at fostering a corporate culture marked by mutual respect and the appreciation of every individual. Those who sign are pledging to create a working environment that is free from prejudice and marginalisation, independent of the gender, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or ideology, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity of employees.
