As in previous years, the proportion of manufacturers from outside Germany will exceed the 60-percent mark. The most important exhibitor nations after Germany are Italy and the USA.
Wolfgang Marzin, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Messe Frankfurt: “Texcare International is the leading meeting place for the sector. Only in Frankfurt do the top companies from all around the world launch so many new products. Only here is it possible to make so many business contacts. And only at the world’s leading trade fair for the sector can visitors gather so much detailed information.”
In Frankfurt, manufacturers première their future-oriented innovations for the sector. This year, interest is focusing more on sustainable solutions. Therefore, the spotlight on the supplier side is on environmentally-friendly processes and machines whereby particular attention is being paid to cutting energy consumption, which is very high due to the heat required for washing, ironing and mangling. Additionally, automation and intelligent process-optimisation systems will play a leading role in the field of machinery and plant construction.
Besides manufacturers of machinery and detergents, a number of manufacturers of hire textiles will also take part in Texcare International and present the latest fashion trends for workwear, new fibres and innovative textiles for protective clothing and collections of table and bed linen for, e.g., hotels, restaurants, hospitals and the nursing care sector.
Distinguished by an international conference programme, the Texcare Forum will be held during the world’s leading trade fair for the sector from 5 to 8 May. There, visitors and exhibitor can find out about subjects of importance to the sector, e.g., sustainability, energy efficiency, new business models, social media, etc., free of charge. On the Saturday and Sunday, Texcare Forum will be aimed specifically at dry cleaners and laundries while the Monday and Tuesday will focus on the needs of textile-service providers and laundries. The Texcare Forum programme is being organised by Messe Frankfurt in cooperation with the Association of the Textile Service Industry (Industrieverband Textil Service – intex) and the German Dry Cleaning Association (Deutscher Textilreinigungsverband – DTV). Also involved are VDMA Garment and Leather Technology, the International Committee of Textile Care (CINET) and the European Textile Services Association (ETSA). The complete conference programme of Texcare Forum will be published on the internet at www.texcare.com in February 2012. The complementary programme of Texcare International will be rounded off by a fashion show – ‘The future world of workwear today’ – and the Russian Day with information about the Russian market.
Admission tickets to Texcare International can be purchased quickly and easily on the internet at www.texcare.com where it is also possible to exchange vouchers for admission tickets.
