08.02.2012 Messe Frankfurt is launching Cleanzone

From 24 – 25 October 2012, Messe Frankfurt will be launching Cleanzone, a trade fair and congress that is being established as a new platform for the wide-ranging applications of clean room technology. Clean rooms are microparticle-free rooms that are used in a variety of fields, including the pharmaceuticals industry, food technology and various branches of the computer and electronics industries.

Wolfgang Marzin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Messe Frankfurt: “With Cleanzone, we are creating a new platform at our Frankfurt base for the rapidly expanding applications of clean room technology, and we intend to make use of our exhibitor network here as well.” Klaus Reinke, member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH and responsible for the new event, adds: “It is our objective to offer the industry an ideal venue for establishing new collaborations, increasing expertise and showcasing the latest technological developments. As a result, the trade fair will be accompanied by an extensive range of presentations and workshops.” Messe Frankfurt will be receiving technical assistance for Cleanzone from the Reinraum-Akademie, a clean room training academy in Leipzig.

Industries and interdisciplinary operations focusing on the special requirements of clean rooms and clean room activities will exhibit at Cleanzone. This includes, for example, the manufacturers of clean room facilities and technology, as well as of components such as doors, walls and illumination. Providers of workplace installations and firms dealing in consumables such as apparel and cleaning agents will also be present at this specialist event. In addition, large service providers from the fields of training, consulting, laundry services and software will be among the target groups.

At Cleanzone, the industry’s decision-makers will be able to obtain an overview of every step in the process, from planning and constructing a clean room to its operation. The trade fair offers ideas, products and solutions for the various processes, while its practical demonstrations are of great assistance to decision-making. The inclusion and exploration of all sectors relevant to clean rooms facilitates the exchange with a wide variety of users. The congress will also foster the sharing of scientific knowledge that is independent of product presentations.
