16.11.2009 New image campaign features Messe Frankfurt as the leading service provider in the exhibition sector

With a brand-new advertising strategy, Messe Frankfurt is focusing on its image as an excellent host. At the centre of the campaign is the notion of customer service as one of the core values of the company. This is symbolised by the ‘white gloves’ motif which, by means of pithy, readily understood gestures, illustrates the benefits of taking part in Messe Frankfurt events – both in Frankfurt and worldwide. The new campaign was developed by Zurich-based brand agency Scholtysik Niederberger Kraft (SNK).

Kai Hattendorf, Vice President of Corporate Communications at Messe Frankfurt: “It is during economically challenging times that the foundations for future success are laid and market share is reshuffled. This is why we are actively communicating our image right now together with our position at the forefront of global competition”.

Oscar Todeschini, CEO of SNK: “The new campaign zones in on Messe Frankfurt’s unique combination of event know-how and highly developed hosting qualities. Messe Frankfurt’s communication strategy is exemplary: both the timing and the incorporation of the campaign within the overall context of the brand identity are indications of truly sustainable brand management.”

With its focus on service and customer care, the campaign is cresting the wave of current developments in the exhibition sector.
At the meetings of the International Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) in Zagreb at the end of October, service quality and customer care were singled out as key competitive criteria for the industry in coming years. The European Major Exhibition Centres Association (EMECA) emphasised this a few days ago at its conference in Frankfurt.

The Messe Frankfurt image campaign kicks off today with an advertisement in local broadsheet "FAZ", which will be followed in subsequent weeks and months by placements in major German newspapers and in relevant trade and business publications.

We would be happy to provide you with the new campaign motifs in a printable format on request.
