Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, Dr Philipp Rösler, will open Ambiente in Frankfurt am Main on 10 February 2012.
“As the leading trade fair for the consumer-goods industry, Ambiente is an important indicator of the mood prevailing in the sector at the beginning of the year. It is a showcase for the industry’s entrepreneurial spirit and innovativeness” says the Minister. Around 4,500 exhibitors from all over the world have registered for the five-day fair, which occupies the whole of Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre and has already been fully booked up for several weeks. “We are delighted the Minister for Economics and Technology has accepted our invitation”, says Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt. “As last year, the presence of the Minister demonstrates not only that Ambiente is a must for the consumer-goods sector but also that it enjoys the undivided attention and respect of both the market and politics.” Dr Rösler will take part in a tour of the fair and visit exhibitors in different product groups.
Ambiente
Ambiente is the leading international trade fair for products for the table, kitchen, household, giving and decorating, as well as for home and furnishing accessories. For five days at the beginning of the business year, a host of exhibitors on 330,000 square metres of exhibition space show what consumers will be able to see in shops around the world in 2012. However, Ambiente is a must not only for the range of products, which is unrivalled in terms of both depth and breadth. The world’s leading consumer-goods fair is also distinguished by a wide variety of events, trend presentations and awards ceremonies.
