The economy picking up again – the best Christmas business since 2006 expected

The signs as Tendence opens its doors this year are positive – more exhibitors than last year are making presentations in Frankfurt am Main from 27 to 31 August. “2,130 exhibitors from 57 countries, that’s 80 more companies than in 2009, have decided to take part in the most international consumer-goods fair in the second half of the year. Although Tendence is still fighting its way through troubled waters, we see this small increase in exhibitor numbers as a sign that we are on the right course”, says Detlef Braun, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt GmbH, describing the current situation of this major international trade fair for the home, furnishing and giving.
