10.12.2009 Jörg Seyffart appointed Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions

Jörg Seyffart has been named Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Messe Frankfurt as of January 2010. He will be overseeing the preparation and implementation of Messe Frankfurt’s strategic and sustainably profitable acquisition decisions relating to events and exhibition companies.

The 42-year-old most recently held the position of Senior Executive Manager and deputy director of Global Investments & Management at Fraport AG, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions as well as portfolio management with focus on Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Previously, Seyffart served in various functions at RAG (now EVONIK AG) in Essen for several years, most recently as head of Finance for the subsidiary RAG Immobilien AG in Essen.
