Messe Frankfurt GmbH Accreditation Guidelines

Applicable to all national and international journalists and photographers representing the daily and trade press and all electronic media, including the internet.

The following persons will be given press accreditation for Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH's own events:

1. Holders of a valid press card

2. Journalists and photographers

  • who can present written authorisation from an editorial office (with original letter heading, not a copy, with address and telephone number) or references bearing a current date (no more than two issues old) and name identification
  • who can present publication data in which they are listed
  • whose work as a journalist is shown by fee agreements/accounts. For authors, presentation of a current book title and a connection with the relevant fair are required.

3. Persons who can prove that they do press work for a public authority or institution and press spokespeople (also of exhibiting companies).

4. Persons who need press releases for charitable purposes if they can show written  confirmation from the relevant institution.

5. Representatives of youth press organisations or school magazines will be given a day/guest ticket once on presentation of evidence. The same applies to interns and trainees accompanying a journalist to the fair.

6. Members of trade press associations recognised for the trade fairs of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.

The following do not constitute a basis for accreditation:

  • business cards
  • invitations from exhibitors to press meetings or other events
  • inhouse passes of a broadcasting company, editorial office or company.

As far as the terms of accreditation are concerned, Messe Frankfurt GmbH may exercise its right to prohibit entry at any time!
